We were the first to positively point out the positions of –the then candidate- Donald Trump on foreign policy and on his confrontation with Islamism and international terrorism generated by the Wahhabi monarchies. Now, we must also be the first to point out that the policy that Trump is developing is just the opposite of what he promised during his election campaign. As an example his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.
We must remember that during the campaign Donald Trump accused Saudi Arabia of being the guilty of the attacks of the 11S and affirmed that would make them pay for it; He made clear that in his opinion Saudi Arabia was the main financier of Salafist terrorism, and of propagating the most radical Islamism around the world.
Last week, we saw the same politician who made these statements a few months ago, dancing with the Saudi authorities an Arab tribal dance, with the Saudi Arabian flag in the background, in white letters on a green background, it can be read the phrase: ” There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet, “and signing a 110 billion dollar arms sales contract to Wahhabi tyranny. In addition Trump forgot all allegations of terrorism to Saudi Arabia to adopt the geopolitical position of the fundamentalist petro-monarchies of the Gulf, pointing as a terrorist agent to Iran, enemy of the Saudis that has nothing to do with the so-called Jihadist terrorism. A change in Trump’s position that make us think or his lack of real conviction or his schizophrenic ability to change his mind on international issues, which makes him an unreliable world leader.
By the way the few days of Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia, a Wahhabite was flying through the air to 22 children and teenagers in Manchester. He was a “refugee” fleeing the Gaddafi regime that the United States decided to overthrow, causing chaos in the country now ruled by Islamists, of the same ideology as the Manchester killer.
As a matter of fact, and of which much information has been given in the media, as if it were really important, has been the presence of Melania Trump without veil during her visit to Riyadh, is a further demonstration of the little dignity misery of the Saudi authorities, ready to stone women for any reason, but quiet as worms when a powerful woman mocks in her face her religious principles. That is their moral misery.
Now we know the United States of Trump are not and will not be an ally against the Wahhabite fundamentalism, rather the opposite. As always only a serious policy, on the part of a politically and militarily powerful Europe could cope with this global threat for all Europeans. But no one seems willing to understand or apply it.
